| Paul--
Aaron Moody
Paul is just your average kid
at about 18 to 19 years old. He is dealing with a lot of the
issues you find in kids his age. He's confused about love,
life, and friends, and he doesn't have a very good relationship
with his father. Paul is searching the world for the answers
to all of his questions. He knows that he doesn't really fit
in with the hippy crowd, but enjoys the fact that they are
not very judgemental and are easy going.
As soon as Moonshine enters
the picture, Paul falls for her immediately. His attraction
to her is purely lustful.
Aaron Moody came to Los Angeles
in January of 1999. He began his career in a Cleo award
winning commercial for the Volkswagon Cabrio and has since
done a total of seven national commercials for products ranging
from Cyder Jack Malt Liquor to 1-800-CALL-ATT. The Truth
About Beef Jerky was Aaron's first short film, but since finishing
it he has appeared as the lead in the film The Big Idea and
as Jim Christ in Meet Jim Christ. Aaron is currently
producing a short film that he will also star in titled Smoked.
"For me the whole film
was an amazing experience. The comic energy in the script
spilled off the screen and onto the set, making every day
more like going to play than to work. From the
first day to the last, I would wake up every morning looking
forward to getting back to the set. The most difficult
thing was making myself retire to my room at the end of each
night. I loved how liberal Fritz, Boyd and Hunter were
with there choices on set. It didn't matter how crazy or twisted
an idea seemed at first, if it tickled their funny bone, it
was burned onto film."
